Numbering

Notes are numbered 1, 2, 3… in the order they appear. They are real Word footnotes: when someone adds or removes one in Word, the others renumber, and Word styles them with its Footnote Text and Footnote Reference styles. A note can hold more than one paragraph:

Limitations

Footnotes go in the body only, not in headers, footers or other notes
No endnotes
